Errors and omissions (E&O) insurance

It appears I may have to change a few character names to be E&O compliant, even though I created the main characters in 2002! 😕 Sheesh. Commercial film distributors require that you avoid the major trademark disputes of the superhero genre. Luckily, I renamed my lead character Hierophon in 2011 and made Heroman his nickname.

One good thing about Google A.I. though:

I came up with a character called Rocky in 2011 and copyrighted the feature script that same year. I have reason to believe, however, that Hollywood likes to rip creative artists off through screenwriting competitions. This has become quite evident in recent years. Thankfully, this time they have not succeeded.

Will still get a full script clearance report through industry professionals over the next few weeks.
